It symbolises the many directions that his journey to connect with ancestors took him, as seen in the intricate white energy lines which take a very convoluted path over the entire surface of this painting. Kevin’s heart finds home in the central red and golden circle, surrounded by the yarning circle of his Ancestors. We are left to imagine how the final step of his journey looked.
