The brolga is deeply respected within Aboriginal culture and is part of many dreaming stories. Brolgas are one of our largest flying birds and can be seen in the area around Kevin's home in Kabi Kabi Country. The pair symbolise ceremony and connection, to each other and to Country. Grandfather Sun is also shining on them in this colourful sky. It is a love story as the brolgas pair for life and are famous for their intricate dance rituals, used to attract a mate.
